We are an engineering physics company, specialising in IR & RF physical measurement, instrumentation and sensors.

We can solve these problems allowing our clients to focus on the applications whilst we provide the knowledge and hardware base to make these applications work. Our services help you reduce costs and the time to market.

Scytronix Systems was founded in 2010 by Dr Hideaki Page, shortly after he lost his job in the 2008 downturn. It was born partly out of necessity and partly as a vehicle for a lifelong interest in science and engineering that conventional employment hadn't left much room for.
Scytronix Systems is now a small team who share that same mindset: the need for invention and creativity in the work, and the appetite to test it on real, difficult problems. Engineering here is closer to a way of life than a job description, and there's usually something being worked on, paid or otherwise.
Meet the team
Founder · Physicist
PhD in optoelectronics, University of Surrey, 1998. Eight years at Thales Research and Technology, France, developing quantum cascade lasers and their applications, followed by terahertz work at TeraView UK and the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics at the University of Cambridge. Founded Scytronix Systems in 2010 to take that experience in optics, infrared technology and sensor design directly to clients with hard problems to solve.
Electronics and firmware
Thirty years in analogue and digital RF electronics, firmware and software, going back to programming computers in the 1990s, with experience spanning the printing industry, vacuum systems, spectrophotometers and gyroscopes. Co-inventor of the Scyan RF imaging system and the electronics and image-recovery algorithms behind it, with a habit of solving problems that look impossible on paper.
